Gratitude

Garbarini is grateful to support the community that supports us.

As this new year begins, we’d like to take a moment and say thank you to our amazing clients. “THANK YOU!” Not only for supporting us, but supporting our community. We have had the privilege to partner with some truly special women. Many have created the foundations they support and others have tirelessly supported foundations near and dear to them.

In 2016 we had the privilege to provide fashion for the Girl PowHER event in Vail, the Brass Ring Luncheon supporting The Children’s Diabetes Foundation, and Flight to Luxury supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver. The store has been a collection post for Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys, programs that provide for Colorado families in need during the holiday season. Through auction items we have supported local school programs and organizations like the Melanoma Research Foundation. For many years we have accepted the Colorado Shops for Kids card supporting the Colorado Children’s Campaign. Garbarini is proud to partner with and support these leaders in our community.

Flight to Luxury

Fashion Show

The 7th Annual Flight to Luxury Event was held last Friday at Centennial Airport. Presented by Cuvee, the event showcased custom-couture private villas by Cuvee, elite jets, exotic cars and live entertainment that included a Fashion Show.

Garbarini was proud to provide some of the fashions seen last Friday and support the Boys and Girls Club. The Boys and Girls Club provide young people with opportunities to engage in programs that help them achieve academic success, take charge of their health by building healthy habits that will stick with them throughout their lives, and foster skills they need to become leaders in their communities.

The theme of the Fashion Show was Hot/Cool/Chic. Garbarini featured Australian designer Camilla, including her swimwear, for the Hot looks. The Cool segment, showed pieces with fur, a strong trend this season, as well as pieces from ADD down. Chic looks featured several designers including Plein Sud, MLV and Theory all in store now.

Fall Trends

The Fitted Turtleneck

Every year there are hundreds of Fashion Magazines and Blogs that dedicate a considerable amount of space to the latest trends. One of this fall’s biggest and easiest is the fitted turtleneck. Truly a classic!

Boring you think? Think again. There are so many variations to choose from and even more ways to wear them.

Paired here with a pencil skirt but also works well with a pleated or A-line skirt.

Your favorite denim: skinny, boyfriend or baggy.

Looks great with a wide legged pant or high waisted trouser.

Layer it under a shift dress to completely change the look.

“You are only limited by your imagination,” says Garbarini stylist Timothy Rollins.

Stop in and let us help you create your Fall look with a turtleneck from one of your favorite clothing brands. Vince, Theory, Bailey 44 and 3 Dot just to mention a few.

Styled by Timothy Rollins.

BRASS RING KICK-OFF EVENT

PREVIEW TO THE FASHION SHOW

WE HAD A BLAST AT THE BRASS RING LUNCHEON KICK-OFF AND ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MAIN EVENT.  There was amazing food and fabulous guests all in a beautiful home here in Cherry Creek North. What a great setting to showcase some of the clothing brands we have in store and give the crowd a taste of what to expect at the Luncheon.

The Brass Ring Luncheon is an annual event that raises funds for The Children’s Diabetes Foundation and this year it is being chaired by Wendy Aiello. The event will be held at the Marriott City Center on November 18th and Garbarini is thrilled to be providing the fashion for the Fashion Show this year.

One of the great things about being a Denver boutique is getting to know the women of Denver. Wendy has been a Garbarini friend for years and we are so happy to be supporting her and the Brass Ring Luncheon.

Tickets start at $100 and can be purchased by calling 303-628-5109 or by e-mailing susie@childrensdiabetes foundation.org
