Deb Davenport

What Deb loves this month: Why she loves it: This Smythe suit is what garanimals for grownups looks like. How to style it: To style this fabulous suit, I'd mix and match it with everything in my closet! I'd wear the blazer with a white ribbed tank and vintage-wash denim. I'd wear the flare with a bustier top and sneakers. As you see here, it is still tasteful and sexy, with nothing under the blazer. Smythe is the name of the game for suiting at Garbarini, and this killer two-piece ensemble with the sapphire blue tuxedo style stripe running the length of both garments cannot be skipped. Not only does this detail elongate the body by creating a great line to follow with the eyes, but the suit is still primarily black, so it pairs well with everything and makes a great update to your tired black suit. I especially love it with the Zadig & Voltaire High Top Flash Sneakers, as I've styled them in the photo. The sneakers add a sense of laid-back cool that is necessary when styling suiting — you don't want to be stuffy and uptight in such a fun outfit like this. I swear this suit just makes me feel faster 💨 Xo, Deb Learn more about Deb. Stylist Deb fashion favorites

Amy Goss-Smythe

What Amy loves this month: Why she loves it: Zadig & Voltaire make my favorite things in the store; they create timeless pieces that are edgy and elegant. I always wear at least one of their designs and encourage all of my clients to reach for them as well. How to style it: I've styled their Taika silk blouse, which has a tie-neck, open cuff sleeves, and pin-tucked detailing that is done in a gorgeous multicolored horse graphic print (with opposite colorway on the inside of the cuffs), with a skinny fit low rise leather pant of my own. I highly recommend adding a pair to your wardrobe — they are perfect year-round bottoms that can be styled with any kind of top and last longer than denim. Our current offering from Etienne Marcel is my favorite in store. It's rare to find me in anything other than sneakers, and for this look, I've chosen Zadig & Voltaire's ZV1747 Mid Flash Vintage Metal Mix with their dual tones and zipper ankle. They aren't as pedestrian as the styles other people wear, and they go with everything! I swap out my handbag daily — it helps with wear and tear on your pieces, and life is short! Why be boring and stick to one handbag?! Switch it up and go for the Rock Nano Clutch — it holds just the essentials and has a cute graphic quilt stitch with removable chain straps! -Amy Learn more about Amy. stylist amy favorite looks

Julie Lizak

What Julie loves this month: Why she loves it: Fall is in full force, and I do love the spice colors. Circolo 1901 makes some of the best blazers out there — they are unlined, and the Italian expertise in the fabric is apparent. These jackets are as comfortable as they are elegant. ✨ How to style it: I've styled this double-breasted golden-toned velour blazer of theirs with a cotton vintage-inspired Daydreamer LA tee featuring a graphic of Etta James. I love the bright colors of the poster print of this tee! The deep cinnamon tone with the bright pink and fade into oranges and yellows makes it unique and easy to style. I love their t-shirts because you can style them in so many ways! Wear them with jeans to go to a concert or as I've styled them here. The look is reminiscent of Katherine Hepburn's elegance when worn with this season's Closed high waist, wide-leg trousers. To round out the 70s-inspired aesthetic, I've paired the high-waisted pants with:
  • a cognac-colored leather belt by Brave
  • a great butterfly-shaped pair of Tom Ford sunglasses with gradient lenses
  • and a pair of the Volli pointed-toe leather booties by Dolce Vita to accent the wide flare of the trouser
It is such a great seasonal expression of color and textiles and a nod to my own personal style with its vintage-inspired look! -Julie Learn more about Julie. stylist julie

Lin Patten

What Lin loves this month: Why she loves it: Fall fashion is by far my favorite... the fabrics and textures are simply the best! There are so many great textiles and colors that we get to choose from during this season. How to style it: For my outfit, I've decided to use the great pop of blue provided by L'Agence in their well-tailored Chamberlain blazer. Investing in a good blazer or jacket and pair of boots each fall can really add up, giving you the option of countless looks. Obviously, you can add a great blazer or jacket to any basic jean and tee shirt combo — instantly elevating the look — or throw one over a simple dress, and you've changed the feel completely. They really are the bread and butter of an outfit! I've layered one of this season's biggest trends in this outfit: the vest under the brightly colored blazer. It stands in as a top and does the double duty of creating depth and layers to the ensemble. To keep the outfit fresh and updated, I've styled the top two pieces with a pair of faux leather shorts. I love the idea of mixing high and low price points, and these affordable bottoms are a great base for many different looks. You could wear them with tights in the cooler months! For my final styling item, I'm wearing the Dakota Boot by Free People. These soft leather knee-high boots have a block heel and a zippered inner for easy on and off. I love them because they make shorter girls taller with their high cut, and the block heel makes them practical to walk in. If you can get something you love once a season, you will have a gorgeous wardrobe full of items you love and actually want to wear. Plus, you don't have as many "filler" pieces you don't reach for, which helps move funds to more luxurious staples that are durable and worth the spend. Working with a stylist can help you navigate which pieces/trends are worth investing in. -Lin Learn more about Lin. stylist lin

Zoe Bitsie

What Zoe loves this month: Why she loves it: Casual layered looks are perfect for fall. How to style it: The sweater dress adds great texture to the outfit and accentuates the waist with a simple black belt included. Nicholas K is a brother and sister team of designers who make some of the most beautiful knits on the market. You can tell they genuinely care about the sourcing of their materials and the outcome of their pieces. I love a woven element that you can wear in different ways, and this long-line sleeveless sweater does just that. The length is traditionally considered "tunic," so it's great over dresses or styled with skinny pants as more of a long top. To accent the sweater, I've utilized an item by the same design duo called the "Carlo Tee." This elongated bodycon tee has long sleeves with thumbholes and a gathering to the seam that gives it some dimension. Since it stops at the upper thigh, it's a great garment for layering under shorter pieces. These boots are my new go-to for fall and winter. They have a beautiful sheen and the perfect slightly slouchy look! Their height is great for mini-length skirts and dresses. Sexy, simple, and so easy to style. -Zoe Learn more about Zoe. stylist zoe stylist zoe favorite looks

Timothy Rollins

What Timothy loves this month: Who he styled and how: The lovely Stacey McDonald beams in a Polo Ralph Lauren brocade cocktail suit and lamé pleated blouse. Ralph Lauren continues to lead the industry with his timeless designs. His latest suit at Garbarini is a showcase for his understanding and celebration of fall fabrics. The weight of this silk-blend jacquard is heavenly (as only Ralph can do), but it can easily support a chunky sleeveless turtleneck or your fav graphic tee as well. The blouse is right at home, styled with your favorite leather pants or bootcut jeans; since it's a little bit translucent and has a great shimmer, you can easily dress up a casual bottom. The ruffle neck and pintuck front evoke a traditional tuxedo-style shirt that is a great start to any look. The mulberry silk suiting elements are woven with a floral print jacquard, making them a bit more stylish and unique than regular black silk. The straight-leg cut allows for great shoe pairing, my favorite being this Prada patent black leather pointed heel that Stacey styled with her look. I love styling looks for special occasions, and I feel that we nailed Stacey's look for a fancy rehearsal dinner on the Soho Grand rooftop in NYC. Nothing is more quintessentially New York than Ralph Lauren! -Tim Learn more about Tim. stylist tim favorite looks Do you see something you love?
