MY FASHION RESUMÉ_

I opened Garbarini more than 30 years ago in Denver’s Larimer Square. Eventually the store moved to Cherry Creek North and we recently moved and expanded to five times the original size, I now own the building.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY STORE AND MY CAREER_

Reinventing the store twice a year and the buying trips that invigorate — me — after 25 years I’m still excited to see the next season’s looks, – colors and styles. The store is my creative outlet, my labora- tory, my canvas, my playground. I want everyone to come in and enjoy it.

WHAT ABOUT MY CUSTOMERS_

Helping people put their wardrobes together and seeing them happy when they’re shopping for fash- ion. The most amazing women shop here and I feel so lucky to know them.

PERSONAL STYLE CREDO_

Almost everything in my closet is black and everything goes together, looks good and wears well. Honestly, I don’t like to spend a lot of time getting dressed. I like to mix Hi and Lo, old and new, I keep things I love for years and years and it's fun to break them out once in a while. Like these fabulous red velvet with leopard print platform sandals. They are at least 11 yrs old and I usually wear them at my annual Christmas party.
